Sniper Elite: Resistance explodes onto Xbox with a familiar achievement list

Sniper Elite: Resistance joins Xbox Game Pass later this week, and we can now reveal the Sniper Elite: Resistance Xbox achievement list.

The Sniper Elite: Resistance Xbox achievements are now live! Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC players who have pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition can now begin working their way through the Sniper Elite: Resistance achievements before the upcoming Game Pass game drops into the service on January 30.

There are 53 Sniper Elite: Resistance achievements to unlock worth a total of 1,000 Gamerscore
The Lights, Camera, Achtung! DLC pack adds another eight achievements worth 165 Gamerscore

Sniper Elite: Resistance whisks you off to occupied France to take on the Nazi war machine once more. Playing as Special Operations Executive agent Harry Hawker, you will go behind enemy lines to stop the Nazis from deploying a super weapon that will devastate allied forces.

As we mentioned in our Sniper Elite: Resistance review, this sequel is pretty much the same game as Sniper Elite 5. You are plonked down into a large, detailed sandbox with several objectives to complete. How you go about completing each one is up to you — whether you snipe enemy soldiers from afar, stealthily work your way around the map with a knife and silenced pistol, or go in all guns blazing, the choice is yours.

On the achievement front, the Sniper Elite: Resistance achievements are very similar to the Sniper Elite 5 achievements. Some cumulative achievements, such as Gunslinger, Skirmisher, Sharpshooter, Silent but Deadly, Le Fantome, Blaze of Glory, Going the Distance, and more, have all been copied across from the previous game. You'll also find a bunch of collectible-related achievements similar to that of SE5.

The only real new achievements here are the obvious story-based achievements and some that require completing certain actions on specific levels. There are also some new achievements for the new Propaganda Missions.

Out of the lot, the hardest will likely be Propaganda Machine and Crème de la Crème, which require beating all Propaganda missions with a three-star rating and the campaign on the game's hardest difficulty, Authentic.

On top of the base list achievements, the Sniper Elite: Resistance DLC expansion, Lights, Camera, Achtung! also has achievements. The pun-laden list is all about killing Hitler, and includes an achievement for shooting him in his testicle.
