Slitterhead Xbox achievements require you play on Nightmare difficulty for the 1,000G

Slitterhead launches next week, and we can now reveal the Slitterhead Xbox achievements, which require a playthrough on Nightmare difficulty for the 1,000G.

With the Slitterhead Xbox achievements revealed, we can now see exactly what bloody shenanigans we'll be getting up to when it launches for Xbox Series X|S on November 8. The Slitterhead achievements are bloody, require playing the action-horror Xbox game on Nightmare difficulty, and ask you to find a bunch of collectibles.

Slitterhead is an action-horror adventure game from Silent Hill creator Keiichiro Toyama. Set in the fictional city of Kowlong, you play as Hyoki, "an entity devoid of memory and physical form" whose only motive is to destroy monsters known as Slitterheads that are disguising themselves as normal everyday people. While roaming the neon-soaked streets, you will possess and control humans to infiltrate dangerous areas and organizations, harness their life force, and turn their blood into weapons to defeat the brain-devouring Slitterheads.

As for the Slitterhead achievements, it looks like the completion will be a tough one to crack, mainly due to The Apex Hyoki Legend achievement, which asks you to clear the game on Nightmare difficulty or higher. Elsewhere, there are numerous cumulative achievements for defeating Slitterheads, using skills, deflecting, causing 100 civilian casualties and expending 100 liters of blood. You'll also need to cut off a Slitterhead's human parts for the You Dropped Something achievement, which sounds like a gory good time.
