Ninja Gaiden 2 Black Xbox achievements now live after Game Pass surprise

After a huge surprise shadow drop during the excellent Xbox Developer Direct, we can now reveal the Ninja Gaiden 2 Black Xbox achievements.

The Ninja Gaiden 2 Black Xbox achievements are now live after the surprise remaster was shadow-dropped during the Xbox Developer Direct. Xbox Series X|S and PC players with Game Pass Ultimate can now begin unlocking the Ninja Gaiden 2 Black achievements. Hopefully, we'll be adding this one to our list of the best Game Pass games soon!

Ninja Gaiden 2 Black Xbox achievements revealed

There are 38 Ninja Gaiden 2 Black achievements worth a total of 1,000 Gamerscore to unlock
Ninja Gaiden 2 Black is available with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass

In this remaster you will take on the role of Ryu Hayabusa, a "ninja who has inherited the legendary Dragon Sword and takes on battles across the world." Team Ninja says it has overhauled the stages, characters, effects, and lighting using Unreal Engine 5 so players can be immersed more deeply in the story and world. According to the developer, gore elements, including dismemberment and blood, have also been remastered to "enhance the action experience."

Ninja Gaiden 2 Black also features additional characters, a mode for beginners, and "elements from spin-off titles released after the original."

As for the Ninja Gaiden 2 Black achievements, it looks like it will be a tough completion. The Mark of the Master Ninja achievement requires you to earn Master Ninja rank in all chapters on chapter challenge difficulty Master Ninja. Here is the achievement list in full:
